Turn a PDF into a PowerPoint PPTX with one image slide per PDF page. This is useful for presenting a report or existing slide PDF. The page appearance is captured as an image; its words and diagrams do not become editable PowerPoint objects.
How to convert PDF to PowerPoint
- Choose one PDF and confirm it is the document you want to present. Enter its opening password if prompted and you have permission to use it.
- Select Convert & download. Every page is rendered, so keep the tab open until the PPTX is ready.
- Open the PPTX in PowerPoint or a compatible presentation app. Check page order and the readability of small text in slideshow view.
- Add your own captions or other slide objects as needed. Keep the source PDF for searchable text, links and document verification.
Slide layout and image quality
The output uses 4:3 slides. Each PDF page is centered and scaled to fit while keeping its aspect ratio. Portrait pages and wide pages can leave unused space; the converter does not crop them to fill the slide.
Pages are rendered at a fixed 1.5x scale and saved as JPEG images at 88% quality. There are no quality controls for this operation. Enlarging a slide image may soften fine text. For a different image resolution, use PDF to Image and insert those images into a presentation yourself.
What can be edited in the presentation?
You can move or resize the page image and add new objects above it. Text, charts and shapes inside that image are not individually editable. OCR is not part of this conversion.
For example, a three-page report becomes three slides in the same order. PDF links, interactive forms, animations and digital signature verification do not carry into the image slides. Use the original presentation file when you need its editable objects.
Privacy and large documents
The PDF is rendered and the PPTX is assembled in your browser without uploading your file to our conversion API. Normal site requests still occur.
The presentation contains a separate image for every page and may be larger than the PDF. On a phone or with a long report, split the PDF first to reduce memory use and check the downloaded slides before sharing.
Frequently asked questions
Is PDF text editable in the PPTX?
No. Each page is one picture. You can add new text boxes, but the words inside the picture remain pixels.
Can I convert only a few pages?
This converter exports all pages. Use Split PDF to make a new PDF containing the pages you want, then convert that file.
Why is there blank space around a page?
The page keeps its aspect ratio inside a 4:3 slide. A portrait page or widescreen page does not fill that shape without cropping or distortion.
