Cron Parser

The interactive tool loads here. JavaScript is required to use its controls; the instructions below are available without it.

Describe a cron expression and preview upcoming runs. The tool computes dates locally; it does not schedule jobs or connect to your hosting provider.

How to use this tool

In a standard five-field expression, the fields are minute, hour, day of month, month and day of week. For example, 30 9 * * 1-5 means 9:30 on weekdays in the parser's local time zone; inspect the upcoming dates to catch a time-zone mismatch.

  1. Paste a cron expression, starting with a standard five-field expression if unsure.
  2. Select Parse.
  3. Compare the description and upcoming local and UTC times against your intended schedule.

How to interpret the result

The parser uses the browser local time zone when no zone is specified. Scheduler dialects and daylight-saving behavior can differ, so an accepted expression here is not a guarantee that another service uses the same rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does this create a recurring job?

No. Copy the verified expression to your actual scheduler and confirm its time zone and syntax requirements.
